There are hundreds of digital marketing blogs on the web and it’s practically impossible to follow them all. That’s why we did our research and created a list of the 30 top blogs to follow to get your dose of digital marketing news, read digital marketing related articles and guides, and stay informed of what is happening in the industry.

For each of the blogs listed below, we give you an estimate of their monthly search traffic and their most popular blog post.

As you’ll see, the most popular post on some blogs is not exactly what you might expect to find on a digital marketing blog. Browse through the list and judge for yourself, I’m sure some results will surprise you.

The traffic estimates and most popular pages were extracted using SEMRush in November 2020. The blogs are presented in the list in random order.

Before we proceed to the results of our study, it’s important to explain the criteria we’ve used to craft this list.

Content Quality – I’ve been in the industry for almost 20 years and it’s easy for me to judge the quality of content when it comes to digital marketing related topics. All blogs selected below, publish high-quality content that is useful, actionable, and insightful. It’s original content that can help you learn the various aspects of digital marketing from different angles.

Author(s) reputation – Some of the blogs have content written by a single author and many of them have a group of writers. All writers are reputable authors that have the authority to blog about digital marketing.

Publishing Frequency – I selected blogs that are active and publish content on regular basics. It makes more sense to me to follow active blogs so that there is something new to learn every time you visit.

Domain Authority – With the exception of a few new blogs, all other blogs have a decent domain authority which is a clear sign that they are accepted as a reputable source of information from other blogs in the industry.

Organic Traffic Levels – A successful digital marketing blog is expected to receive a decent level of organic traffic per month. If that’s not the case then it means it is a new blog or the content is not good enough to get the attention of search engines. All blogs listed below receive thousands (or in some case millions) of visitors from search engines which is another indication that they are doing a good job overall.

Marketing Topics Coverage – Since this study was for digital marketing blogs, the websites listed below cover a range of digital marketing disciplines and not just a single area.

First on the list is the Reliablesoft Digital Marketing Blog (that’s us). It’s not the most popular blog in terms of traffic but its organic reach is growing steadily in the last couple of years.

On the reliablesoft blog, you’ll find content (articles, how-to guides, tutorials) covering all major digital marketing channels including:

New content is published on a weekly basis and we make sure that our existing content is updated regularly to stay relevant with the latest changes in the industry.

If something important is happening that may affect your work as a webmaster, you’ll definitely know about it.

Besides ‘news-related topics’ they also publish how-to-guides, tips, and actionable articles. It’s a great website to follow on a daily basis and it’s not surprising that they get close to 2M visits per month from Google search alone.
